  • CANCELLING YOUR CLASS RESERVATION

    Your class reservation can be cancelled up to 6 hours before the start of the class without penalty. Cancellations made less than 6 hours before the start of the class will have a $10 charge or have a class deducted if you are using a classpack.

  • HOW OUR WAITLIST WORKS

    If you're on the waitlist, you'll be added to the class (and notified) up to 60 minutes before it starts if a spot opens.

    You can cancel up to 6 hours before class. No-shows without cancellation will incur a penalty.

  • NO-SHOWS ...OR NOT ATTENDING A CLASS

    No shows - or not attending a class without cancelling your reservation at least 6 hours prior to starting time - will be charged $10 or forfeit their class credit paying with a class pack.

  • LATE ARRIVALS TO CLASS

    Please arrive to your class 5-10 minutes early as not to disrupt the class experience for others. No late arrivals will be tolerated for yoga and meditation classes.

  • CLASS CANCELLATIONS

    In the event that a class has 3 or fewer attendees booked 6 hours before the start time, the class will be cancelled, and you will be notified. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, as a small business we are unable to run classes without a minimum attendance.

  • CANCELLING YOUR MEMBERSHIP

    All sales are final. Monthly memberships can be cancelled by emailing info@infinitymovement.ca at least two weeks before the next payment is due. It is also possible to transfer an existing membership (prepaid yearly or 3-month plans) to another person.

  • FREEZING YOUR MEMBERSHIP

    Memberships can be frozen once per membership, for as much time as needed. This includes recurring memberships (6 months of recurring monthly memberships are considered to be 1 membership) by emailing info@infinitymovement.ca

  • MEMBERSHIP BILLING

    Our memberships can be billed to your payment method weekly or bi-weekly. New members can choose a preferred payment schedule at checkout. If you'd like to change the payment schedule of an existing membership, please get in touch at info@infinitymovement.ca.

  • WHAT CAN I EXPECT IN MY FIRST CLASS?

    Upon arrival for your first class at Infinity Movement Studio, you will be warmly greeted by the coach and shown around to get familiar with the space. If you have any questions or concerns this is a great time to bring them up. We meet our clients with curiosity, care and acknowledge that everyone that walks through the door has a story and we do our best to coach people in the way that helps them feel safe and motivated.

  • DO YOU HAVE A LOCKER ROOM?

    Our facilities include lockers for storing your bags and clothing, enclosed stall bathrooms that can be used for changing, and two showers.
    We do not currently have a dedicated locker room.

  • IF I'M NEW TO WORKING OUT AND/OR GOING TO A GYM, ARE THERE SPECIFIC CLASSES I SHOULD TAKE?

    All our classes are designed to meet the needs of beginners to seasoned athletes. Our class sizes are kept small so that coaches can be attentive to the needs of each individual, providing alternatives to movements when necessary.

    A great place to start is our class descriptions and trying out different class types to find the best fit for you!

  • DO I HAVE TO BE QUEER TO ATTEND CLASSES AT THE INFINITY MOVEMENT?

    Absolutely not! The founder, some of the coaches and many clients are from the community and everyone who isn’t are allies. We work together as a community to continue to learn about what it means to be inclusive, to encourage as much diversity as possible and to create and cultivate equity. That all ties in together to foster a culture that centers around building and reinforcing a sense of belonging. In short, the place is magic and we are excited to share it with you.

  • WHAT IS ANTI-OPPRESSIVE AND TRAUMA INFORMED COACHING?

    A trauma-informed and anti-oppressive approach to coaching recognizes the importance of acknowledging power, privilege, and barriers to access present within the fitness industry specifically and on a wider scale. In practice, this can include language used by coaches, asking for consent before touching a client, awareness of the vunerability it takes to walk through our doors and more. We do our best to coach people in the way that helps them feel safe and motivated so that they can more easily access the bravery if take to show up in spaces that require this level of vulnerability and are continuously listening and learning to better meet our clients needs.
